Vintage Levi's and Espadrilles

Spring is here! I'm so happy I could wear my Espadrilles and walk around without a jacket today. Here are some snapshots from my Sunday walk – I'm wearing: vintage Levi's 501 (their fit may not be flattering but I still like them a lot), shirt by The Kooples, sheer top by Asos, leather Espadrilles by Topshop, Ray-Ban "clubmaster" sunglasses, and vintage leather pouch bag which I borrowed from my mother.

New in: a special gift from Chanel

I'm starting a new job next week and to fete this change (you must always celebrate new steps in life, right?) my parents gave me this beautiful card holder from Chanel. It's perfect when you're carrying an evening bag and you don't want to take your big purse.

For sale: Iro Paris "Julianne" metallic blazer

I bought this Iro Paris jacket, but sadly it's not the right size. So I'm selling it in my Tictail store (including many other fashion items). Go have a look!

Chanel in Hamburg - the new boutique

Now that I've mentioned the new Chanel boutique in Hamburg, I thought you might want to see more. Sadly, since you're usually not allowed to take photos inside a Chanel store, I can only share the press photos. The new boutique in Hamburg offers Prêt-à-Porter, accessories, shoes, jewellery and handbags – and the beautiful fashion-area is inspired by Coco Chanel's Paris apartment. How do you like it?

This week's news

I'm sure you've heard: this Thursday, the new, very spacious and very beautiful Chanel boutique opened in Hamburg. Chanel-fanatic that I am I didn't miss the chance to visit the store on its first day (my credit card will take it amiss – of course, I fell in love with several new gems in the store! ... did you know that Chanel does iPhone charms?! I love the kitschy little Russian doll.). Beyond that, spring came to Hamburg for one day (Thursday, it was, too), the cherry blossoms looked very pretty and I had ice cream in my lunch break. What else? My Iro biker gilet, which I had bought at Vestiaire Collective, arrived! I learned that even toothpaste can look pleasing (when it comes from Marvis). And I watched "The Grand Budapest Hotel" in the cinema, which I absolutely loved! Looking forward to the weekend.

Espadrilles - the summer shoes

Nothing says a) that it's summer or b) that you're on holiday quite like Espadrilles on your feet. I love the classic French or Spanisch linen version - and I absolutely don't mind that they only last one season. After all, they're cheap and made to be destroyed by the sun, sand and sea salt. However, since last year's hype for luxury Espadrilles is still tangible (Hello, Chanello! ... and not to forget Céline and Valentino!), I put together a mix of luxury, higher-quality and cheap Espadrilles. From top to bottom and left to right: white Topshop leather Espadrilles, light blue leather from Lika Mimika, blue linen from Asos, black fur by Manebi, blue fur by Manebi, and neon yellow canvas also by Manebi, two tone leather by Lika Mimika, striped cotton by Asos, and last but not least legendary Missoni Mare.

Cravings: sun, sand and sundowners

Do you need more of this? Here you go, you're welcome. ... I always used to say how much I love the different seasons but currently I'm beginning to doubt this statement. I'm thinking of nothing but summer, denim shorts and cotton dresses, warm sea breezes and the feeling of sand under your feet ... Guess, I'm in need of a holiday. Can I borrow a yacht from anyone? ;)

Black-and-white-spring (on a budget)

I could also call this "my must haves for spring" part II, but this time, nothing costs more than 200 Euros - apart from the Paige denim gilet, but I'm sure you can find a budget-version of it. Some of it, like the Le Specs sunglasses and the Topshop leather espadrilles, are even real bargains. So here are the other items: Sandro scarf, Vanrycke necklace, Opening Ceremony leather backpack, Adidas T-Shirt, Zara jeans, and eyeliner by Alexa Chung for Eyeko.
Do I need to add more colour to my outfits?

The first week of March on Instagram

Here's an update of my Instagram photos: I added a carpet (by House Doctor) to my living room, I wore my vintage sports/team shirts, which I had found in vintage stores in Gothenburg, and admired the plate by Astier de Villatte from Artilleriet, I went to the opening of the Olympus Photography Playground in Hamburg ... for more follow me.

Hej from Gothenburg: Artilleriet

When I visited my sister in Gothenburg last weekend she introduced me to Artilleriet, a dreamland of interior design. I lost my head for a moment and almost carried a stool, two carpets, a large mirror, a pile of china and several lamps to the counter. Luckily I remembered the journey back home and contented myself with a plate by Astier de Villatte – for the moment. Everything else will be ordered in the online store. To cool my nerves I had to take a little Fika break. Da Matteo, which is right across from Artilleriet, has excellent coffee and Swedish pastries. Divine!

Vestiaire Collective – my selection

I am a huge fan of vintage hunting – it's so exciting when you never know what treasures you might find! One of my favourite digital platforms for vintage and second hand luxury fashion is Vestiaire Collective. It has more than 1.5 Million users worldwide, so it has grown to a really large fashion community. You can find sold-out it-pieces by pretty much every label you love – and sometimes for real bargain prices. Of course you can also use the platform to sell. All items are sold directly from one person to another, but Vestiaire Collective checks all items for their quality and authenticity before they are sold. I went on a little digital stroll around the platform and put together a selection of my favourite pieces that are currently available at Vestiaire Collective. Here you go: Acne sunglasses, T-Shirt by Isabel Marant, destroyed jeans by Sandro, pumps by Isabel Marant, denim shirt by Isabel Marant, bracelet by Hermès, Bandana clutch by Chanel, bag by Proenza Schouler, leather trousers by Maje, and trainers by Saint Laurent. Happy shopping!
